Coach Profile: Aoran Lu
Aoran is a TTA TOP Course Certified Coach, with a proven track record of developing professional and competitive table-tennis athletes from technical training, strategic training, and mental resilience aspects.
Aoran used to be a professional athlete, she started playing at age of eight, has been through professional training in Shanghai, China for six years. She also participated in different provincial and national level tournaments at young ages, used to played Sun Ying Sha-the world champion now at different tournaments.
Aoran is an experienced coach and player. She represented Victoria State Team, led U15 Girls team won gold medals in 2025 National Championships and U17 boys team bronze medals in 2023 National Championships. She has experience of both individual and group coaching for more than five years.
As a player, Aoran also sometimes plays tournaments herself. She won mixed- doubles gold medal with Sanish Ambekar - the Indian National Champion, at 2023 Croydon Masters Open. She’s also the semifinalist in 2025 TTA Tour Melbourne.
